Crafting Fun

Over the last couple months I have come up with numerous craft projects that I wanted to complete.  "Complete" being the key word!  I have had some of these projects started for several weeks and never seem to be able to find time to finish them!  Jerry is VERY tired of seeing my projects all over (I'm hoping he gets so tired of seeing them he decides to make a craft room for me!) Several of these are Christmas gifts so with less than 30 days until Christmas I have finally finished several of my projects.

I made each of the kids a fleece blanket for Christmas.  Jack's is an MU blanket and is still not done.  The boys had outgrown the ones I made them when they were born so these are twin size and should last a while!

Kindergarten Program

Last Tuesday the Kindergarteners had their Thanksgiving music program.  They were all dressed like pilgrims and indians.  It was so cute- they all did a great job.  I wasn't able to get any good pictures due to the lighting (I seriously need a new camera!!!!)

Christmas Tree

We spent Thanksgiving morning decorating the Christmas tree.  We had it set up with lights on for a few days before we decorated it and the boys were so excited to get the decorations out.  They each have several ornaments that are their own and they enjoy looking at those and hanging them in the perfect spot!  Kate spent more time taking the ornaments off than she did putting them on.

Thankful

This Thanksgiving I have so much to be thankful for.  I have a wonderful family that loves me, I am surrounded by friends that inspire me, a baby girl that will be joining our family soon, and God continues to meet all of our needs each and every day.  These are just a few of my many blessings I am reminded of this Thanksgiving.  Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Operation Christmas Child

We tried something new with our boys this year.  We wanted to show them first hand how good it feels it give to others.  We decided to make two shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.  We took the boys shopping and let them pick out (and redirected them several times!) items for our boxes.  They picked out books, crayons, balls, candy and personal items.  We plan to donate online so we can track our boxes.  The boys wrote a letter to these boys telling them about themselves and what they like.  We talked about how we should pray for the two boys that will receive our boxes.  I know it made an impact because they remembered to pray for our new "friends" tonight.

Baby #4

Today we were able to see baby #4 for the first time.  We were very excited to hear we are having a girl!  The best part was she is growing great and she looks healthy.  The boys were a little disappointed as they had their hearts set for a boy.  Hayden informed us we can still call her Logan (our boy's name) We assured him we have other ideas for names!

Fall

Jerry and the boys took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend and washed the vehicles.  It was 70 degrees on Sunday- its not often you can wash your vehicles in November and not freeze!

And the best part was I got two clean vehicles!

19 weeks

I am now 19 weeks along in my pregnancy and have finally started to feel the baby move.  I love to feel the little "flutters" in there. I am trying to enjoy each and every day of this pregnancy knowing it will be my last.  There are so many things I don't like about pregnancy, but I am trying to not focus on those.  It is hard to believe that I am almost halfway through this pregnancy.  I guess when you have three other kiddos to keep you busy, it doesn't leave much time to focus on being pregnant!

Monday we will get to see this little miracle for the first time (via sonogram that is!) The boys are so excited to see the baby. I am convinced I am having a boy- I can see it now Mom of three boys and one spoiled rotten princess!  The boys are both wanting a boy because Jerry has convinced them if we have a boy that boys will outnumber girls in our house so on family movie night they will always get to watch boy movies!  We will be thrilled either way as long as we have a healthy baby.

I'm Not Listening

Kate has started doing this all the time.  She looks at you with that cute little smile as if to say "I'm not listening!"  In a couple years this won't be cute anymore, but for now it makes me smile!

Happy Halloween

My two super heroes and the cutest little pink monster ever! We had a great night trick or treating and the kids ended up with way too much candy.  Kate was very protective over her pumpkin bucket, she didn't want anyone carrying it.  Although it got so full it was making her off balance!

Carving Pumpkins

This has become a yearly tradition at our house.  The boys each got to pick what kind of face they wanted on their pumpkin.  Jack was not a big fan of cleaning out the inside of the pumpkin.  Jerry has as much fun carving the pumpkins as the boys do.  Kate thought the inside of the pumpkin was pretty gross!

The big one is Linus and the great pumpkin if you can't tell!
